
INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS


The Bachelor’s in International Business at NIT is developed using Arizona State University’s (ASU)curriculum and offers a 3+1 dual degree pathway with both NIT and the Thunderbird School of Global Management at Arizona State University (ASU).
The program builds a strong foundation in management, economics, finance, and technology, while emphasizing sustainable business practices, intercultural communication, and ethical leadership. Students progress through courses in global management, international trade, supply chain operations, business analytics, and innovation, with a unique Pakistan-focused componentenhancing regional business insight.

DUAL DEGREE PATHWAY - 3+1 PROGRAMS
Students may complete all four years at NIT or choose to follow the 3+1 pathway, studying three years at NIT and their final year at ASU—either online or on-campus. Graduates earn two degrees: a Bachelor’s in International Business from the National Institute of Technology (NIT) and a B.S. in International Trade from the Thunderbird School of Global Management at Arizona State University (ASU). This dual credential equips students with the global perspective and skills needed to thrive in today’s interconnected business environment.
PRACTICAL LEARNING EXPERIENCE
The program includes a professional internship and a final-year capstone project, along with electives in global risk assessment, multinational leadership, and entrepreneurship, preparing students to lead in diverse, interconnected markets.

ADMISSIONS TO EARN THE BACHELOR's DEGREE IN INTERNATIONAL TRADE BY THUNDERBIRD SCHOOL OF GLOBAL MANAGEMENT AT ARIZONA STATE UNIVERSITY (ASU)
Minimum transfer Grade Point Average (GPA):
Transfer students must have a minimum 2.50
cumulative transfer GPA (with a 3.00 GPA in core
competency coursework (4.00 = "A").
Proof of English proficiency: 61 iBT TOEFL; 6.0 IELTS;
PTE 53; Duolingo 95 or equivalent; Global Launch’s online
English for Undergraduate Admission or full-time English
Language Program (campus or online immersion).
ADMISSIONS AT NIT
Candidates for the National Institute of Technology (NIT) are selected based on the following criteria:

Matriculation/Intermediate Requirements
Applicants must have studied three subjects with a minimum of 60% marks (no specific subject requirements).
Cambridge International (O & A Levels)
O Level : Eight subjects (English, Mathematics, Urdu, Islamiyat, Pakistan Studies + 3 electives), with an average of grade C. (Additional Mathematics does not count as an elective)
A Level: Three principal subjects with an average of grade C. (Further Mathematics and General Paper are excluded.)
OR
International Baccalaureate (IB)

English is compulsory; CAS and TOK must be completed.
