Business Meeting

The Bachelor’s in Finance at NIT is developed using Arizona State University’s (ASU) curriculum and offers a 4+1 Accelerated Master’s pathway with the Thunderbird School of Global Management at Arizona State University (ASU).

The program blends core business fundamentals with specialized finance courses, covering topics such as managerial finance, corporate accounting, security analysis, and business risk management, along with courses in data analytics and digital transformation to support data-driven financial decision-making.

The curriculum covers essential subjects such as managerial finance, financial statement analysis, accounting, and business risk management, ensuring a well-rounded understanding of financial operations. Courses in data analytics, digital transformation, and security analysis equip students with the ability to make data-driven financial decisions. Ethics, leadership, and innovation components further enhance their ability to adapt to evolving industry demands.

With internship opportunities and a capstone project, students gain hands-on experience, applying their knowledge to real-world financial scenarios. This program prepares graduates to excel in corporate finance, investment banking, financial planning, and risk management roles, making them valuable assets in global business environments.

ACCELERATED MASTER’S DEGREE - 4+1 PATHWAY

Students can earn both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in just five years, spending four years at NIT and completing the final year at ASU—online or on-campus—in the Master of Global Management (MGM) or Master of Leadership and Management (MLM) programs.

PRACTICAL LEARNING EXPERIENCE

With a required internship and a final capstone project, students graduate with real-world experience in financial analysis, investment planning, and corporate finance, ready to take on roles in global finance and business environments.

ADMISSIONS TO EARN THE MLM AND MGM DEGREES BY THUNDERBIRD GLOBAL SCHOOL OF MANAGEMENT AT ARIZONA STATE UNIVERSITY (ASU)

Master of Leadership Management (MLM) online:

NIT undergraduate program diploma + official transcripts from every college or institution attended, including NIT’s. Must submit original transcripts and English-translatedEnglish translated transcripts.

​Applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00 (scale is 4.00 = "A") in the last 60 hours of their first bachelor's degree program.

Proof of English proficiency: (TOEFL>80 iBT, IELTS>6.5, Pearson Test of English>60, Duolingo>105), all taken within the last two years from start date.

Master of Global Management (MGM) on-Campus : 

NIT undergraduate program diploma + official transcripts from every college or institution attended, including NIT’s. Must submit original transcripts and English-translatedEnglish translated transcripts.

Min cum GPA of 3.00 (scale is 4.00 = "A") in the last 60 semester hours or 90 quarter hours of undergraduate coursework and min. 80 points (B) for each bridge.

Proof of English proficiency: TOEFL>100 iBT, IELTS>7.5, Pearson Test of English>68,Duolingo>125, all taken within the last two years from start date OR successful completion of ASU Global Launch.

ADMISSIONS AT NIT

Candidates for the National Institute of Technology (NIT) are selected based on the following criteria:

  1. Academic Background (minimum 12-13 years of education)

  2. Online Application Submission (including submission of supporting documents like Personal Statement, Letters of Recommendation etc.) + Admission Application Fee Payment

  3. SAT Score (optional)

  4. Application Review + Interview (if shortlisted)

 

Meeting the minimum eligibility criteria does not guarantee admission, as selection is competitive. Note that admission decisions are final, and are not subject to modification.

Matriculation/Intermediate Requirements

Applicants must have studied three subjects with a minimum of 60% marks (no specific subject requirements).  

 

Cambridge International (O & A Levels)

 

O Level: Eight subjects (English, Mathematics, Urdu, Islamiyat, Pakistan Studies + 3 electives), with an average of grade C. (Additional Mathematics does not count as an elective)  

 

A Level: Three principal subjects with an average of grade C. (Further Mathematics and General Paper are excluded.)

 

OR

 

International Baccalaureate (IB)  

  • Minimum 30/45 points.  

  • English is compulsory; CAS and TOK must be completed.  

  • Students must also pass Urdu, Islamiyat, and Pakistan Studies (via O-Level/SSC/IB).  

 

OR

 

High School Diploma (HSD)

  • Minimum 60% overall.  

  • English is required, along with four principal electives in grades 9–12.  

  • Students must also pass Urdu, Islamiyat, and Pakistan Studies (via O Level/SSC/HSD)
